The overprojected nasal tip is commonly referred to as the ‘Pinocchio’ nose. The tip projects too far in front of the face as if the nose had been pulled forward.
The approach to an overprojected nose is an open rhinoplasty procedure. Different surgical techniques are used in these cases. The main objective is to set the tip back, closer to the face.
